favorites?
i just have one thing to complain about....how can one car cuz like 3 different cautions in one race and still not get black flagged? but yet they want to tell 34 to get off the track because he was involved in 2 of the cautions to which neither was his fault...the first caution he was in was just pure racing and the second one was because someone pushed him into the wall..hmmmmm....also i have no clue what is up with them not letting casey cool down his car so he could pull vaccumm...thats some stuff...they have let everyone before.....find some techs and flag people who know what they are doing.... |

ya know i like racing at benton dont get me wrong....but i think it should be fair racing..yea there was a lot of good races on the 4th....but ya know lets be fair....and not just change things in the middle of the season..thats my only concerns and im sure im not the only one that feels this way.... |

i may not know alot about the tech process at benton but last year i worked on one of the pure streets and every time we had to go through tech it was right after comming off the track across the scales and then under the hood with the timing gun and vac gage i have never personaly seen any one allowed to wait any time to cool a car off befor the vac test. that is just my exprience with how they tech the pure streets. but like i said i don't know much. |

I have been around tracks all my life and have NEVER seen anyone allowed to let their car cool off before they check its vacuum. They are checked right after you pull off the track from a race. Thats the way its ALWAYS been. |

At Malden your not even alowed to take your own hood off, the tecks have to do it. |

Being the last tech man at Benton, we let the driver and one crew member in the tech area only, this was to help take the hood off. Every track does it different. If there was any more people around the car other than those two you could get dqd. Letting everybody around the car during tech is a bunch of bull. All the racers and spectators know that. It is addressed at the drivers meeting, that is if some of you go to it. everybody that is with that car knows this. It did not happen when I teched and would not happen if I was still teching. This was one of my main beefs. Now some of you may understand one reason why I no longer tech. To much B... S... Enough said. Have a safe racing Season, and try to support your local track, good or bad. |

THERE ARE NO FAVORITES, WHEN IT COMES TO TECH< EVERYBODY IS TREATED EQUAL. I JUST DON'T LIKE BEING SECOND GUEST BY ONE PERSON WHEN I'M TRYING TO DO MY JOB. ENOUGH SAID. HOPE THIS CLEARS UP SOME GRAY AREAS. NOBODY IS SUPPOST TO BE IN THE TECH AREA< EVEN WHEN THE CAR IS BEING SCALED, EITHER AFTER THE HEAT, DASH, AND FEATURE. NOBODY.
