Wrecker may not be there this Friday
Hey all, Our wrecker that I bring down every weekend is currently in the shop getting the hydraulics redone and had to have some parts ordered. As of right now, we haven't heard anything as to when we may get it back, other than sometime next week...maybe. Everyone be careful and have some great racing this weekend. See ya next weekend. Well, I guess when it rains it pours. I just got more bad news as to the wrecker. It seems that the hydraulic cylinders that we are needing replaced have been discontinued and there are no parts available for them, so...while the shop is searching all over the USA for any parts, they basically said not to hold our breaths on getting the wrecker back this weekend either. Well, the good news is that brand new cylinders are ordered for the wrecker. The questionable news is I am still not sure as to when they will be in, but they will be installed as soon as they get to the shop, so HOPEFULLY we will have the wrecker back down at the track this weekend. Well, as everyone may know by now, the wrecker is back up and running. I will have it down there every Friday nite till the season is over. I will admit, yes it was a small showing of cars this past weekend, but it was still better than sitting at home watching racing on Speed Chanel. All the same, it was good to be back.
