attention John Preston
You don't like the track but yet your constantly on the message forum! Go somewhere else, we're tired of hearing from you! Suggestion to the website, if all your getting is negative responses from a few individuals, it might be time to get rid of the message forum. Tracks such as PIR don't give individuals a chance to bash them. Thanks track supporter

why dont you two (John Preston and partner suds43,)please find another track to attend and do not come to Benton Race Park on Aug 15th, we wouldnt want you to the ruin the show for anyone who likes to attend. |

I would like to know who the two of you are? Why don"t you use your real names on here? If you have a complaint I would love to hear it. I am at the track EVERY Fri. night and I set at the Jr. fan club table. I will be glad to take ALL of your negative remarks and answer them for you! You don"t know much about what you think you are talking about. So PLEASE, let me know what you have to say and see if we can get it settled! That is the way I handle my remarks!! IN PERSON!! NOT ON HERE!! See you at the next race, don"t be late, because when the races start, I watch them and NOT everyone who thinks they know it all!! Sue

I won't go on a weekly basis anymore, not worth the money. I really don't understand how anyone can think of 5 cars in a feature a race...... Might want to ask Billy if their even racing this comming friday 8-8, I hear he's not going to. Hell of a way to run a race track. |

Suds43, Nope, no racing this weekend, 8-8-08, due to the Sikeston Rodeo. Next race will be on 8-15-08 with the O'Reilly All Star Series cars. Hope this helps. Also....WAY TO GO SUE!!!!!!! Just one more note: if anyone has a complaint or comment(positive or negative) to or about me, please pull me over and let me know, in person. I am the idiot in the wrecker in the middle, wearing the obnoxiously bright yellow t-shirt and shorts. I'm not trying to start anything, but I really appreciate compliments and also like to hear constructive criticisim or complaints, so I know what I did wrong and know what not to do next time. Don't worry people I won't be back, but remember when you have to look for another track to attend, Myself and Suds TOLD YOU SO! This track needs serious help and needs to learn to take a little criticism, it can be a help you know. I primarily concern myself with the sprints in which I've only told you the truth. If you are content and only need 5 cars for your race, you are crazy, there should be more in a heat race than that. Keep running your sanctioned races, unless they are paying the purse, not 1 show could have been profitable for the track. So without me and my friends and Suds family and friends, you'll have more room in those PACKED grandstands! Good day people and good luck. Just a parting thought, don't take it so personal. Sometimes a little criticism is a good thing, just look at the bad things you say about me, and I never said 1 bad word about any individual on this board, just stating facts about the track. |

Will John, you may not have said anything bad about an individual but you have said negative things about the track. And I agree with you about only 5 cars for a sprint race, and I think the track would too. But when the track cancels the race because of lack of cars ( people critize) but if the track opens and races what cars are there ( people critize). SO I would like people to think about how much work and time and money it takes to just open up on Friday nights. And maybe in a few years the track could make it. But complaints only make the people paying for the track, food, insurance and cars not want to do it again next year. And noone will be racing and the complaints will end. I would suggest getting rid of this message board and lets just see it this track even has a chance. |

I agree with you all together! One more thing people may think about is the convenience of having a dirt track at our back door. With gas the way it is we don't have to drive a 100 miles there and 100 back. Also you may want to just stop and think about how many tracks have closed down and just how few we have left. I do not wanta see the time come to where there is NO more dirt tracks and all we can do is sit and watch Nascar on tv. I love to feel the rumble under my feet, the dirt in my eyes and the smell of gas! So come on people and LETS ALL get it together and make this track work!! Thanks, Sue |

LOL, takes more than 5 cars in a feature to make a rumble under your feet.........Obviously you've never been to many other tracks and see how their run. When there is something positive to say about Benton, I'll say it........Until then?????? LOL Just calls em like I see em. |

SON, I have been around tracks ALL MY LIFE!! I cut my teeth on the bleachers!! So don't go talking about things you don't know NOTHING about!!I was around tracks back when Cape Gir. was running. And even before that!! So now run your mouth. Why don't you go to other web sites and talk bad about there tracks? We SURE don't need you here!!

I've been going to races since 1958....beat that!!!!! Been to tracks/races from NY to Fla., N.C. to Ca...how about you???? Where have you gone to races? only the local S.E. Mo tracks??? lol Please don't refer to me as 'son'.........that would be an insult to be your son.........God forbid!!!!!! |

SON, I only have this to say and as you say, this is my opinion. Someone like you is NOT even worth arguing with!! You seem to know all and see all. So please just get the hell off of this site!!! I am sure that Malden, Pevely or what ever track you won't to talk about, would be glad to hear from you. With as much as you know, why don't you open your own track!! That sounds like a great idea!! Than you can put your track down!!! Go play with something that needs your attention and leave OUR TRACK ALONE!!! We love it and we are NOT asking for your opinion!!!!! |

i have been reading all this and have come to the conclusion that dud43 needs to take over the Benton track and show everyone how it should be done since he knows it all and we are all for that since we need a perfect track. then he can have all the racers and all the money and all the fame that goes with running a race park that everyone dont see behind the scene to put on a event each week. so please let us all know when your first event is and we will be there --dont forget to pay alot of money to get the drivers and dont forget to fix all the loose boards that you seem to have found on the bleachers also. |
