After riding the course today I am in. The course is all on the south half of the Nordic Center, and the mud won't pose as much of a problem. The new descent that has been added in is interesting, to say the least. Erik, do you remember the one descent on day six of the TR where I was taking photos last year. The new descent reminds me of that one in particular, but not as wide of a trail. And go figure the first time today when we were all riding the descent, a lone girl of a group of 15 that was all boys except for her. She was the only one that rode the whole descent. The rest of the group walked most of it. How do you like them apples? |

I am planning on it, but the forecast doesn't look promising... |

The course is wicked... with Ed at the helm it is guaranteed to hurt! The "ass whupper" as we dubbed it last night will provide some good entertainment for spectators who venture that way! |

Screw the forecast ... it's a MTB race. 98% of the course is rideable in the pouring rain ... the other 2% not so good. The forecast is improving though, and after your race I'll stuff all of you with Spolumbo's Sausages (not in a dirty way, unless of course that's what you're into) |

If you can ride 8 hours of enduro pain, a 2 hour XC in adverse weather shouldn't be an issue. I've learned from riding with Nutbrown that anything is rideable. I've just gotta figure out how to pull it off myself. |

Can anyone provide a detailed description of the course since a pre-ride on Sat. may not happen. |

I'm in rain or shine. I think the course will be ok with the rain or whatever. The ass whupper may not but that's ok too. Earl's description is pretty accurate except for the feed zone. |

Cyclemeisters guys - great job out there. Great course, great food, great prizes. From a rider's standpoint, I didn't see a single glitch in race execution which is awesome because I know adverse weather makes things a little harder. I don't think I can post on your forum so hope at least a few eyes see this one! |

Agreed - great race! Great course and great organization and great food. I didn't see anyone in the feedzone handing out spicy italian smokies though... Thanks to Tori for feeding me! |
