11 a side charity game against us ( Liverpool FC Supporters Club )
Hi Gooners I am James the Chairman of The East Anglian Liverpool Supporters Club based in Lowestoft and I have been in correspance with Kate re a 11 a side Charity game, I should be able to secure Wroxham FC pitch and bar with Karoke and Disco The Charity will be for Cancer as I know one of your members died recently Hope to sort this asap as time is limited Good luck for the rest of the season James |

Hi Dave No new developments in pitch at Wroxham just awaiting reply for dates I am sure you would all prefer a Saturday date, is there any dates which are no good to you ie your end of season nights out etc. As I said earlier this is a charity event for Cancer Reserch so the more the merrier who support us. Yes loads to sort out between now and then buy I am sure between us all we can sort a great day and make loads of money for a good cause. Most of our team is around the 35 plus mark with 3 acceptions so does that mean the 35 year olds are the ringers lol. This game all come about from your website guy as I am looking to improve our site next season and he does a amazing job and looks great a credit to you all, then Kate contacted us and its gone ftom there. What we will do is charge the players about £10 each to play so thats a great start, get there friends and family to come along and charge say £3 pp the money will soon be coming in. Last time we played at Wroxham FC it was free for pitch and bar etc as it was great PR for them also, they also had a burger bar there !!! I have the contact details for all the people who've played in the 6-a-sides games over the 3 seasons, if whoever is organising it wants to get in touch. Otherwise, I'm up for a game. If you can't get Wroxham, the Thorpe 3G artificial pitch is available Sundays - but you have to pay for it. |

Hi all Thanks for your intrest I have been in contact with Kate and it looks like you will have more than enough players which is great. Yes last time we played there there was a burger bar lol ....... I am just awaiting call from Wroxham for dates available and its a all day thing where lots of drinking will take place !! Ok all Wroxham have come back to me saying the only date available is Sunday 11th May which is not ideal to arrange things, but how does that sound for everyone say have a kick off at 13.00 if we can sort it. Its now very doubtful we will lay on disco as I have to go to work the next day !! but the bar will still be open. Let me know via here or email me direct cheers James |
