I thought that you would like to know that LPOC chairperson Bruce Cohen was censured by his own administration, only 2 months into his term. It took a while to get the text. The usual delay and cover up tactics hindered sunshining of the text. Mr. Cohen’s comments indicated on at least one message board that he thinks this is a joke and does not take this very seriously.
Here are the released minutes (finally) of the Ex-Com meeting provided for any good libertarians who remain in our organization to reflect upon. I would consider it a personal favor if you would keep this information in the back of your mind should Mr. Cohen come up for any future election or appointment in the LP.
In my opinion, (and large number of others) Mr. Cohen has single handedly ruined our organization here in Orange County.

Call to order: 3:40 pm
In attendance:
Bruce Cohen, Chair
Brian Lee Cross, N. District Chair
Dennis Chang, Coast District Chair
Bob Vondruska. S. District Chair
Steve Kubby (Guest)
Absent:
Andy Favor, Treasurer
Don Patterson, Secretary
Patrick Hardy, LPC Ambassador
Brian Lee Cross moved the following resolution:
Whereas LPOC Chair Bruce Cohen has used rude and threatening language with members and officers, has willfully undermined the efforts of a fellow officer, has disregarded the bylaws of the LPOC, we approve this vote of No Confidence, and further add our censure of these acts as unfitting the chair of the LPOC.”
The specific charges are these:
1) Using rude and dismissive language in replying to members concerns.
2) Using rude and threatening language in communication with officers.
3) Subverting an existing committee without approval of the LPOC Ex-Comm or members
4) Deliberately withholding information asked for and needed by an officer and committee.
5) Taking action which should have the approval of the Ex-Comm or members.
6) Naming himself to a position which requires approval of the Ex-Comm or members.
7) Ordaining himself a title which do not exist in the LPOC and without approval of the Ex-Comm or members,
and without a change of the bylaws to create any such position.
Seconded by Dennis Chang
Three votes Aye; One vote Nay; Passed.
Brian Lee Cross moved:
“Brian Lee Cross is Chair of the OC Fair Committee, and sole manager of the OC Fair booth.”
Seconded by Dennis Chang
Three votes Aye; One vote Nay; Passed.
