Glanzen Lite Complete VS Quiessence

Hi, I am wondering what would be the best product for essential vitamins and also a good supplement for coat, hoof, attitude, etc.... Glanzen is a great product that I have tried on my horses with the results being a shiny coat great looking body mass, etc. I would like a product though that can provide essential vitamins. I work my one horse who is a 18hh hanoverian frequently and needs to more focused, then I have a 11hh welsh/shetland cross who rubs his tail and is still growing up mentally and just started his training and is catching on quite well, then I have a 14yr old 15hh qtr horse who just in general a GREAT all around horse for trailriding but a little arthertic and last but not least another 17 yr 15.3hh Qtr gelding who has a bit of a attitude problem - but - I love him dearly and have had him for over 13 yrs and know his personality. Both the welsh/x and the 17 yr old are very easy keepers. Which product would you suggest for the price for having all these horses and not being a millionare can be costly, but, I wouldn't give them up for the world unless in a real bad situation. Hope I haven't overwhelmed you.

Re: Glanzen Lite Complete VS Quiessence

Hi Charlotte,

Quiessence is excellent for attitude, since it protects the muscles and nervous system. The dosage should be 2 to 3 ounces per 500 lbs of body weight.

But, Quiessence does not provide vitamins and minerals to fill in nutritional gaps in the diet. Glanzen Lite, if your horses get pasture, or Glanzen Lite Complete, if they are mostly on hay, would be beneficial to round out the diet. And, you can feed Quiessence along with Glanzen.

All the best,

Dr. Getty
