Need training tips for our 2 very active ~1 year old rescue puppies

Hoping to connect with experienced rescuers of older golden puppies at Goldstock 2006. Patty & Shana are probably about a year old now and a barrel of fun, but still have a long way to go with basic obedience. We'll be staying in Hancock at the motel, but attending camp Fri. to Mon. eating in the dining hall, and at most events. Ron is especially easy to pick out in a crowd since he's 6'4" silver hair in a pony tail and a beard. lease feel free to come and meet us and our girls, and share "what works" with us. Looking forward to meeting you! Thanks!

Cathy & Ron,

I look forward to meeting you at Goldstock. I went last year with my new rescue, Seamus. He was about a year and a half old then...and quite a, em...let's just say handful. So, I can imagine what you're going through! But, I'm very happy to report that he's made great progress since then and is a pretty well-mannered boy these days. He's even going to try to pass the Canine Good Citizen test. Wish us luck!

I'm not sure which cabin I'll be in. But, I'll keep my eyes open for Ron and introduce myself.

Hi Paige-
Great! I find your words encouraging, and look forward to meeting you too. BTW Gail Lustig knows us, she was the godmother of my previous rescue Sandy, and I'm sure she would point us out to you, probably most likely in the dining room, although we expect to spend alot of time at the waterfront trying to tire out the girls. I bet they will love Seamus!

I'm a trainer and would happy to help you out - when I'm not at my rescue's table or managing the silent auction, I hang out in cabin 9/10 or 11/12, depending on how they are numbered this year. Look for the one dogless person at camp!
