Goldstock 2007 Here we come!
I can't believe it's going to be the 10 year anniversary of Goldstock this year! Ten years ago I met the people I call my friends today. Goldstock is the highlight of my year. I long for the next year the minute Goldstcok is over. Just can't wait to see everyone again this year and celebrate our 10 years together! Sophie is going to do something new this year to try help raise money for Golden Rescue. Afterall she is an honorable Golden bully. So keep an eye out for "Kiss the Bulldog" this year! Your donation for a bully kiss will be donated to various rescue groups. And Sophie just loves to get kissed! So looking forward to seeing everyone! Rachel Junie and Sophie

Hey Rachel I didn't realize you were at all of the Goldstocks (10 for 10 Club). Stephen, katie and I are going to try to come up with some kind of buttons for the 10 for 10's. Was Junie a first goldstock dog too? The only other ones I can think of are Laurie Collins' Irish and Cara. See you real soon Beth and Boo |

Absolutely, Junie was a first goldstock girl. She was just a year old..now she's 10! My old lady. Looking back at pics of her at camp years ago is sad..seeing her age! Wahhhhh! |

wow,,,if Tyler has to pay for all his sophie kisses,,, I am in BIG trouble this yr.. He has talked about her all yr and tells everyone that "my favorite dog Sophie is just like a Golden betriever cept she is shorter and white...." Can't wait to see everyone,,,and definately gonna have to make a visit to the geriatric cabin this yr... No medical equipment for Tyler this yr,, and a friend along,,,I am gonna have one of those Margaritas *however ya spell it!) |

 he was taken off his ventilator last Sept,,, after GS,, and his trach was removed 2 wks before Christmas,,, his stoma was permenately closed in April,,,and his neck looks great... We put in a pool this yr cause now he can swim and he loves to swim...He is using a walker now and also riding his tryke to get around and help build up his leg strength..he will be excited to get his first cocktail!!

WOOHOO, Tyler!! I can't wait to see everyone again this year. Hopefully the weather will be better, but when you're at Goldstock...who cares what the weather will be? We can have fun no matter whether the sun is shining or not. It's nothing that a margarita or dacquiri can't help!

The weather is supposed to be beautiful - sunny but a touch cool. Doesn't matter though, Kia will swim until her paws drop. This year she will try to beat last year's personal best of 4 tennis balls in her mouth at one time. Goldstock is so good for my BIG girl. Is everyone up for the hills? I've got good walking shoes and intend to make up for last year and hugging the rain cover.

All packed up and ready to roll come Friday morning! MacGyver will be introducing his new brother Jesse Jim all around. Jesse will be sure to make you smile....if dogs had a theme song Jesse Jim's would be "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life"! Looking forward to seeing everyone! Why does Goldstock take so long coming again? Seems like forever! 10 years....I've been to 9..the first with Klaus, my Big Brat Dog and honorary Golden who attended along with his "dedded mallard" from Source M He had to swim pretty fast to retrieve it as all the Goldens were swimming after it too! Memories! The nice thing about them is they are not only one of the few things you can keep forever, but you can always make new ones too!
