Message:   Why not come to Australia? It's beutiful here. Anyway, Thylacoleo Carnifex is a popular candidate for the big 'cat' (although actually it's more like a big possum, not a feline at all but a close relative of modern wombats and koalas)I doubht the puma theory that states US airmen released two Puma cubs in WW2. Such a small genetic pool would not support a population into the twenty-first century.
