Backgrounds
I have used the background tag as per the Sticky on this forum but it doesn't work. I have substituted my url where it says url and put my image in correctly. Can anyone say what is wrong. |

I should have mentioned that I use the Wizard and tried to put the background on the second page in the Code Editor. |

Delayed because of hospital tests. url is not complete but the question refers to the page of any website. If a page has text and perhaps images is it possible to put a background behind them. |

X you can design your site anyway you want to but without your link we really can't help a whole lot with your problem publish your page so we can see it and we can tell better why it may not be working most often people don't upload the images and just expect it to be automatically there when then publish their pages or any files to be there |

"the question refers to the page of any website. If a page has text and perhaps images is it possible to put a background behind them. No, the sticky message refers to a page on any website. Your question refers to a problem on your website. Since the answer in the sticky message is correct, the problem must be your error - or possibly your use of software where normal procedures do not apply. |

Oh! Are you confused about your name? If "bee" and "x" are the same person, we may have the software problem I mentioned. If this is a Wizard page, you may want to visit the Web Archive to see the pages of Martin E. Meserve. |

Thanks for the refereal to Meserve pages. A lot of useful information there although a little out of date as it refers to Red and Blue Wizards which don't appear to apply now. |

Probably explains why the original pages are down, and only available through the Archive. However, I believe there are still two kinds of wizard, isn't that right? So you just have to figure out which one used to be "red" or "blue". |

Martin E. Meserve was very useful but now I need to ask him a question. His contact details are blocked. Anyone know another way to make contact. |

He left from helping due to some dispute or problem. He probably does not want to be contacted and wants to be left away from wizard problems. You should respect his wishes. |
