Preventing People from Viewing a Site & Disabling Mouse?
Hey guys, I was wondering if there exists any HTML-codes that can be used to prevent specific individuals from viewing my website (providing I can, for example, acquire their ISP #s)? I've met some very nasty individuals on-line, and I don't want them finding my page and causing me any grief. Heck, if this is possible, I'd love to be able to add a message letting them know, upon reaching my page, that their ISP has been recorded and FW. to the propper authorities! HA! Also, does any HTML coding exist to further protect my site my disabling Right-Click on a mouse, and also attaching a message notification if it's even attempted? I have found this quite often on-line, and it looks real handy! Thanks, and take care... |

you have the free subdomain so probably a lot of what you want you would have to upgrade to a domain with paid hosting. a lot of people will say as well the no right click issue is no goood to use either it is a waste to use. you are going to have ones that start to become an issue but as recently have had at a couple places that i am involved with but because we have more capabilities to block their e-mail address and more with our domain and more but as said because you have the free subdomain you are limited |

both options would not be worth the time and effort. blocking an ISP might block the entire set of visitors from that area, not just individuals. takes using "htaccess" which is a paid hosting ability only. disable right click doesn't block anybody these days. it is a very weak defense, easily worked around. check here... http://continue.to/hope |

Unless somebody has a fixed IP address it is pretty well impossible to block them. I have seen people try IP blocking here and end up blocking themselves. |
