4.99% Tax rise recommended:- 2.99% general council tax increase, combined with 2% social care precept. You've got to be joking! Plus Ryedale District Council precept, plus Parish Council precept plus any other precept not in the previous three... Where are people going to get the money? Is the pension going to be increased by 4.99%, are wages going up by 4.99%?
