We are buying a car for our 16 year old son and I heard Volvo's are one of the safest cars. This is one of the only older cars we reviewed that has side air bags with head protection. But we have heard and read horror stories about repairs for these cars. Would this be a good deal for $6100 if everything checks out? I'm not familiar with Volvos, can anyone give some insight? Thanks.
Volvo is very high rated with an average life span about 18 years, should the car have issues , yes, it can be very heavy on your pocketbook
If you get a clean bill of health from an inspection done by a Volvo mechanic I would consider an offer, you did not mention miles ?, is there a link where this car can be viewed ?
