I saw few cars now that have "brown areas" either under the trunk or on side by the rear door (bottom area) ..and the both sales people claimed its not rust and is just "the surface".. I read somewhere else its not possible for 2005 models to rust so i'm confused as to why there is these "brown rust like" areas on some of the vehicles...they said they can fix/detail it and how it wont come back ..can such gurantee be made by a salesperson? Surface rust on undercarriage is nothing to worry about,,, both salespeople told you the truth.

They will not gurantee in writing it wont come back becauce it will with time, dont let this area be part of your buying process.
