Negotiating price

This one time I was successful in bringing an offer from $19,000 to 16,400 and the car was in perfect condition but i didn't end up buying it because its 2004..and i wanted 2005..

However with 2005 models i'm having alot of difficulty...many are posted close to $19,000 I want something close to 16,000..would you be able to give me any tips on bringing down price?

PS: I remember you were saying surface rusting shoudn't be taken into consideration

Thanks again.

Re: Negotiating price

I am lost,,, why negotiate a price if you got no intensions of buying ?

As for tips how to negotiate bringing down the price, you will find the basic answers on the website, but it really is an area where questions and answers can branch out, therefore I cant pin point your next move unless it's a specific question.

Re: Negotiating price

Remember when i was asking for the values...2004 we figured was around 14,400 (and max 14,700) I would have bought it at 15,400 since it has low milage..so for 16,000-400 i'm looking for the 05 model now..only havent been succesful locating many..ah well..
