Great site, you have a lot of good info. But I have a quick question, I have acquired a vehicle that was abandoned in FL but carfax shows it was registered in Nevada. I'm trying to find the lien holder so I can work out a deal and get the title. vehicles not reported stolen. I tried contacting the fl dmv but they said no info being that its from Nevada and the Nevada dmv only told me that there is a title but couldn't give me any more info with out proper paper work. Any help would be great and thanks

I will post an answer if I can find one, in the meantime the DMV knows whom the owner is.

In fairness to the public it comes under the privacy act, otherwise you could submit any vin # and find where to locate that person.
