Hello. I financed a truck through a credit union that I found at a used car lot. It turns out that the vehicle has a salvage title. I asked the gentleman at the lot for a carfax report and he redirected me with paperwork etc. until I forgot about the report. I contracted to purchase this truck at full blue book price but still owe $2,600. Is it legal for a lot or a credit union to sell me this truck?

For you to use the word gentleman , I read into an honest consumer just looking to get a fair deal, but got manipulated
