Genetically Modified foods: Apparently there is a 6 week national debate on this issue in the UK.
What do sikhs think bout GM foods in relation to Bani and daily life. Sikhs being vegetarian and all that, how does this effect sikhs??
it is said that GM foods can stop world hunger or the argument against this is that its a money making scheme.
This is someone else's opinion from an e-group:
"Personally I believe nature is perfect, and will always adapt and overcome. No matter how clever man becomes, nature will always be stronger. So man should learn to live in harmony with it, rather than abuse it. GM foods will cause havoc in our fields, their eco-systems, which will filter througth into water, and all eco-systems. Also i do not believe it is benefical to our diets and health, and will produce long term side effects."
