hi i am sikh boy with full dastar and starting to grow a beard...that is my problem i do not want to grow a beard but i cant tell my parents coz im scaredthey will get angry n hurt me...but if i dunt i lose my friends...already a lotta ppl wen i walk wih dem in public de walk with a distance between me n dem because ppl in public look at me and s****** and because sikhs wih dastars rnt really common in my area...i am the only one in my school...i want to cut it and shave like my relatives n family friends do but my parents are really strict...i cannot live with this life and i have thot of many ways but turned away in respect for my parents but i dont know wt to do...they have alot of dreams for me wen i start wearing a proper dastar...at the moment i wear a patka...and i d not wnat to wreck their dreams...should i continue with this lifestyle of misery or should i go n tell my parents wat i really want...please help im really stuck here
