Re: Christian song

Hello, Belen;

My website partner and our ASL expert, Elaine Ernst Schneider, is away until next week and unavailable to answer your question. Did you by chance read the post and answer directly below yours, entitled also ‘Christian Song?’

From our files, Elaine had previously described that sign as follows:

“heal - Touch the chest just below the shoulders using the fingertips of both hands. Then move hands forward into "s" hands, as if "pulling" strength from the body to have on hand in a difficult or scary situation. This is also the same sign used for 'brave.'”

For healer, you might sign ‘heal + person’ or consider signing ‘doctor.’ That one is pictured here: http://www.lessontutor.com/ees_asl_professions.html

Hope this helps.
