Thank you for your quick reply. The second part of my question is how do I get an ASL teacher at the middle school? I think there are two or three other children other than my son who would benefit from such a class. Still, with budgets in, what would be the best way to go about "persuading" the school (which is very creative and generous) to hire such a teacher. Of course, I can argue the case as an IEP issue, but I'd rather not if possible. What are some routes to take? People to contact? All advice would be welcome!
