I am not all that religious but was dumb founded when I read a passage in an old bible found in Egypt in 1945 which had been written around the time Jesus lived supposedly written by the unknown prophets who lived at the same time as Jesus.

"That what is within you, if you bring it forth it will save you, that what is within you, if you don't bring it forth it will kill you".

I would never have understood this if I had not give it a meaning toward my sobriety and the thing that was within me was acceptance of my alcoholism, thank god I brought it forth and admitted I was alcoholic because if I had not I would be dead.
