No, my windshield is not broken or damaged now. But when I read this thread I came to the uncomfortable thought myself: What would I do if the windshied DID become damaged?
As far as the speedster windshield, I personally do not like that at all. I've seen it on the Thunder Ranch 718 (USA) and to me it looks just horribly wrong. Maybe that's because it simply IS wrong! Anyway -- only my opinion.
However, there might be some light. As I read further on this board I found a link to Speedstars. I emailed the windshield question to them and received a reply from Michael at Speedstars the NEXT DAY!
He says "maybe" www.beachbuggies.co.uk/ who used to build the GP RS60 (?), or www.718-rsk.co.uk/ who are currrently designing a direct replacement "fly screen".
The info looks worth checking out, and it looks like you have some good folks in the UK at Speedstars!
