Platform feeds

Hi Dr. Getty,
I wrote to you a few weeks back asking about Purina's Strategy. I'm looking to replace the Strategy with something that isn't grain based. What to you think of Farnam's new Platform feeds? Or would Nutrena's Safe Choice be a good alternative? Thanks again for your advise.

Where are you from? Wyoming

Re: Platform feeds

Hi Lori,

I prefer the SafeChoice because it is higher in fiber than most of the Farnam Platform feeds, except for their senior feed. They are both excellent, however. Both are made with flaxseed, beet pulp, and stabilized rice bran – all of the ingredients that I prefer.

All the best,

Dr. Getty
