Hi Sherry,

Calf Manna is very high in carbohydrates, particularly from corn. Corn is not well digested in the small intestine, and therefore, is more likely to end up in the hind gut, where problems with the bacterial flora can be produced. This can lead to laminitis.

This supplement is best used for other animals, not horses.
