Ration Plus - Succeed

It is so interesting reading this forum. I eat it all up but have problems digesting sometimes!

I looking at Ration Plus, that I have, and have been looking at Suceed, is there any difference in the two products.

Then stemming from a question, posted earlier. How does Ration Plus help digestion more than a dried probiotic?

Re: Ration Plus - Succeed

Hi Kasey,

Both Ration Plus and Succeed are excellent additions to the diet to help with digestion. Succeed, however, is very different than Ration Plus because it contains nutrients that assist with the digestion of carbohydrates. This product is designed for the performance horse who is given oats or other grain and is stalled for many hours.

Ration Plus contains fermentation products of existing microbes that feed these organisms, helping them grow in numbers and therefore, increase digestion and the production of B vitaimns.

Probiotics, on the other hand, contain live microbials, which I find useful in large dosages when a horse is on antibiotic therapy. For horses that have ulcers, weight loss, diarrhea, or are under stress, Ration Plus is highly effective.

Thanks for asking!
