Selenium

Hi Dr. Getty,

Just had a quick question. I read a lot about all the selenium defficient areas. Was just wondering since you lived in this area is that a problem i need to address with my horses? Or how would i find out if i was in one?

Hi Kim!

No, the soils in Texas are adequate for selenium, so there's no need to be concerned about a deficiency.
