Treats for Troy

Hi Dr Getty
Always looking for a treat that will go in the pocket, would a handful of salted peanuts daily be ok for Troy, doesn't seem like too many carbs but one never knows!!! Best to leave that opinion to the experts.
Thanks
Elyce and the alwasy hungry Troy

Re: Treats for Troy

Hi Elyce,

Peanuts are ok in moderation, as long as they are not raw. But, giving them to him every day would be more than I would recommend.

How 'bout baking up a batch of Nutty Seed Cookies? You can bake them to be as soft or as crunchy as you like and they are very low in sugar and starch. They're economical when you bake them yourself.

All the best,

Dr. Getty
