Sea Buckthorn

Hi Dr Getty,

Some of the trainers in my area are feeding a supplement called Seabuck Complete to their show horses. What's your opinion of Sea Buckthorn as a nutritional aid? Thanks

Re: Sea Buckthorn

Hi Pam!

Wonderful! In fact, I am currently working on an analysis of this fruit with a provider from Canada and we are developing a product that is designed for horses. It's a bit in the future, so go ahead and get what you can right now. This fruit contains omega 3 fatty acids and is very high in antioxidants.

I will also be carrying a Noni Juice Extract -- a powder that you sprinkle on feed. I've tested it with my own horses and it is an excellent health-booster and aids in healing and keeping them healthy. If you're interested, let me know and I will see how long it will be for production. It's a bit easier to use than a juice.

Best regards,

Dr. Getty
