summer sores

I would like to know what you recommend for summer sores. My paint stallion gets an outbreak every summer.

Re: summer sores

Hello Janice,

Thank you for writing. I would recommend adding antioxidants to your horse's diet to help boost his ability to fight allergens. PreOx is worth considering and would replace any vitamin/mineral supplement that you're already feeding.

Spirulina is also excellent for allergies and I have recently found an excellent spirulina wafer that I will be offering. So, please contact me if you would like more information about it, since I do not, as yet, have it on my website.

All the best,

Re: summer sores

Hello Janice,

Just FYI -- I now have Spirulina on my website. This natural food (blue-green algae) is highly nutritious and has been proven to reduce skin problems due to allergens in the feed and environment.
