I have been feeding my 2 5yr. old horses Glanzen 3 for 2 yrs. with excellent results in hoof, coat and attitude. Just wondering if access to grazing for 1 hour/day year round is adequate, or could they benefit from Glanzen Complete ( a bit more expensive) Thanks. P.S. they have 24/7 turnout, but not at pasture.

Fresh grass contains vitamin E, vitamin C, and beta carotene, which are lost when the grass is dried to make hay. So, that's where Glanzen Complete is beneficial because it replaces what has been lost from fresh grass.
An hour of grazing really is not sufficient time to benefit from these nutrients. So, I would recommend adding Glanzen Complete. You could use both Glanzen and Glanzen Complete in a 50:50 mix, to help counteract the additional cost and still offer more that just what Glanzen provides.
