Hi Molly,

Yes, another excellent supplement is PreOx. And, I would provide Quiessence along with this for additional magnesium.

I am concerned about his lack of energy. PreOx contains B vitamins, which will help, plus omega 3 fatty acids, for a variety of functions including hoof health, inflammation, immune system, and more. Give him 2 scoops per day, but build up to that level over a week to 10 days. Add some water to his meal so it sticks to the feed and doesn't fall to the bottom of the bucket. Or you can spray his feed with cooking spray to help it stick.

If his energy level does not return to normal, let me know and we can consider speaking at length over the phone so I can get a clear picture of his entire situation.
