Re: Ration Plus with Ulcer Medicine and Weightgainer.

Hi Cheryl,

Yes, Ration Plus will not interfere or interact with any other supplement. Because your horse is a performance horse (from your previous post), he is likely to have an ulcer, which can cause cribbing and weight loss. I still recommend B Plex, in addition to what you're feeding. And most importantly, forage offered free choice. This will make the most remarkable difference of all.

All the best,

Hi There,
I was wondering if you can use Ration Plus with Gut Guard for ulcers (by Smartpak) and Fat Cat (by Vapco) altogether or if this is too much to supplement with.
I have been giving the Gut Guard in the AM with 1.5lbs of senior feed, and the Ration Plus and Fat Cat with 3lbs of senior feed in the PM. He also gets 3 flakes of orchard grass split between 2 feedings. He is about 80lbs underweight and has always had trouble keeping weight on. He is a 18yo gelding that is 15.1 hands and about 850lbs.
