Hi I used to be in charge of the Eastwick engine test facility on the Shoeburyness Ranges run by QinetiQ on behalf of the MOD. We had remaining Spey 20202 and 101 engines for generic engine trials plus ex RAF test beds and control cabins possibly we had at least one installation stand but I left ten years ago. A gent called Trevor Smith runs the Aircraft Trials now.

Hi I used to work at 1 sqn RAF St Athan which was aircraft storage and we were removing engines prior to aircraft storage. I suppose this could be were a lot of end of life aircraft ended up. I remember storing a good hanger full of Phantoms in the late 80's early 90's. regards Dave
