Sad news today, Sean Turner a great friend and really genuine and totally respected bloke passed away this morning. A lot of members of the Phantomeers will know Sean either through working with him or meeting up with him at the reunions. RIP Sean.

Totally shocked at hearing this Frank. Another good guy goes to the final crewroom. My thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP Sean.

Totally gobsmacked to hear this sad news of Sean’s passing. A really nice genuine guy and friend. We were on the same Phantom Course at RAF Conningsby in 1979 ( see pic in gallery ) and then both ended up in Wildenrath in 1980 - Sean on 19Sqn and me on 92Sqn. I shall never forget the great times we all shared at the Wildenrath Rugby Club bar!

RIP Sean - I shall raise a glass of ale at the Cenotaph in London later this year in your memory. Roger
