Im Planning my marraige in florida and need HELP!

Hi ,I am planning my marriage in Florida this year and would appreciate any advice that could be given on organizing or ideal locations.
Also some advice on the marriage license. I.e. how long does it take to get.
I Know you have to go to the local courthouse with appropriate documents but is it issued there and then or do you have to wait?
Any help would be greatly welcomed.
Jason

Jason,
Congratulations on your engagement!
First, you picked a great state to be married in!
Florida has a lot to offer, you just want to make sure that your not setting the date in the middle of the hurricane season!
For your marriage license, you'll need to look up the County Clerks Office for the county in Florida where you'll be getting married. You should be able to find all the legal marriage info from their web site. Many states do have a waiting period so you don't want to wait too long, on the flip side, check the to make sure how many days you have to file before the license expires.

If you have more questions, we'll be happy to give you a point in the right direction.
