Greetings All and thanks again to all you wonderful posters who help us novices out! I'm sure the problems that seem complex to some of us are a piece of cake for you guys.

I have a two part question.

#1. I recently used TrendyFlash Intro builder to "play" with a startup page for a website. Using FTP, is it possible to use this intro as a start page (entry) to the rest of the site and how do I go about doing that?

#2. As recommended by some, I downloaded Alleycode to work on some of the templates here on Bravenet. Now here comes what I think is a very stupid question but I just can't figure this out: How do I get that template OVER to Alleycode so I can edit it?

Any step by step help would be much appreciated.

You install the alleycode program on your computer
first.

You need Irfanview or another image editor to edit the
blank images.

You then download the template to your own computer
from your template favorites section.
You download the version that includes all the separate files images plus html.
That will be a zip file.
You unzip the file so you can edit the
separate files ie images,html.
You edit all the blank images for links with Irfanview to make your text buttons.
You save each image with a different file name.

You open the alleycode editor next.
You then open your template html file
using file open menu.
You replace all,blank buttons with
your custom ones.
As you complete the pages you
need to link up each image
to the correct page.
You add your own text and images.
You use save as and name each page
with a new file name.

You can copy and paste your navigation links
from the first page to all others pages.

im using trendy intro builder as well, i have saved the intro for use for the internet.

but how do i set the intro as the front page? where is the code?
