i am a newly elected township supervisor. I have gotten our township a website....finally.....I campaigned on modernization and that was step 1.
I would like to add pictures to the home page under the header. I would like multiple pics that rotate so it is not the same pic all the time. And yes I use the Website Wizard and plan on staying with it. We want a simple but informative site. Just some pics.
There are lots of free scrips around which will either swap pictures after a fixed time or display random image from a set. Google will find you a host of free script libraries.
If connections in your area are slow then a slideshow which changes the pictures may be a bit disruptive to you page. Whichever way you go you will need to use a photo editing program to crop each of the pictures to exactly the same dimensions.
The page that I have linked from one of my sites shows a set of small images swapping rapidly to create a "stop motion" effect.
