(Wish I could just hire some grade school kid to do this for me . . .)
Trying to create a website. Purchased a domain name. Signed onto Bravenet. Downloaded JAVA. Reset my Dell. Opened the ftp applet. See my files on the left side. Cannot get my highlighted file to transfer to the right side (says "Transferring file", but nothing transfers). Should I take up something easier, such as underwater facepainting, instead of trying to create a website to market my book? Please advise. Peace.
Bravenet don't want to be in the FTP market, there are lots of good programmes out there already. They provide a basic utility for the use of those who are unwilling or unable to install their own FTP programme. It isn't part of their mainstream business so it doesn't get much TLC.
