Email Forms (Contact Forms)

Does anyone know where I can get Email Forms (Contact Forms) for free? Preferrably something that is customizable and ad-free.

My budget it too tight to purchase Bravenet's web form service and their free service is not good enough.

I need help adding an email form (contact form) to my site, so that people can send messages directly to my email. I asked about it in the previous thread and it seems like all I need is a free 3rd party service.

Help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Anthony

Search GOOGLE if bravenet isn't what you want

Re: Email Forms (Contact Forms)

There are lots of free email form services available. But, they all have one catch or another. Either they have annoying advertisements, limits on attachments, number of fields, or number of forms per month. But, in their defense, they are here trying to make some money. They give you a taste of their service, but only enough to get you to subscribe.

But a forms service doesn't do anything really special. Your email form simply targets a processing script on the service's web site. The processing script than takes your the field information from your form, formats it so it's readable, and then email it to you. Some services provide a central area to access the submitted forms, but do your really need another place to log into?

It appears you already have paid hosting. Why don't you add your own PHP email form processor to your web site. There are lots of free PHP scripts available. In general, most processing scripts are pretty flexible. They will work with almost any number of fields and can do a pretty fair validation. There are even some with built in CAPTCHA for limiting the automatic spam generators. Just get on google and do a search on "free php email form script" or "free php email form script captcha". There are several really good ones available.
