Hello my beautiful little boy!
It has been far too long. I am so sorry but I have been so busy with your brother and sister and going back to school.
It has been a bit of a change for me- I got given year 7 and spent most of the holidays planning. I wasn't sure I would like it, but now it is probably my favourite grade. The kids are just wonderful and I am very attached already (which worries me come end of year).
Mummy is very busy and worried about putting Chuckles and Tom in daycare for two days, but they seem to be getting used to it now. Chucky starts school next year and is already working at a year 1 level. Tommy continues to improve and is being a right mischief. His speaking has improved and we love him so much. We feel lucky to have him considering his tough start.
We miss you every day. Charlie says a prayer for you every night just so you know that we carry you with us.
Please watch over them both. I know I am just being silly but I can't imagine life without them.

The big bedroom!

Hello beautiful boy. I can't believe that today is your sixth Angel Day. The time has flown by. It is probably the first where your sister has started asking questions and she has even managed to write you a simple letter that we tied to your eight balloons and let float up to you in heaven.
We miss you so much and often I imagine what life would be like with the three of you running around.
Thomas is much more like you- very easy going (although he has a temper!) I pray that you watch over your brother and sister every day. I can't imagine life without them. I feel so guilty because I can't remember your smell, your sounds and your touch and I hope you never doubt how much we love and miss you. Things are so busy here we often don't get time to stop and reflect on things from the past. You will always be a special part of our family. We love you so much little one. You are and always will be my little buddy and the one who made me a daddy for the very first time.

Hello my little boy! Hope wherever you are that you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. We spent the day as a family together but did go and visit your grandparents. Charlotte and Thomas were spoilt as usual with far too many presents. It was a lovely day and we bought you and Ethan a toy train to enjoy and Mum found a lovely musical snow dome.
The year ended with more worry about your brother and 2012 has started much the same way. He is still not walking or talking and I am absolutely terrified that this delay will have a significant impact on him. I have been praying in earnest that soon he will stand and start talking.
Please look after him- his name came from your middle name so you would always be around.
We love and miss you dearly especially on these special occassions. I hope you will watch over your beautiful sister and brother now and always.

Hello my beautiful angels. Happy birthday. It is hard to believe you would have been 6 and 7 today. The time has flown by. It was a special day with your brother and sister. I took a day off work so we could spend the day together. Your sister wrote you a lovely letter which we tied to your two balloons and let go. Charlotte was asking all about Heaven and what you will be doing on your special day.
I always promised that your brother and sister would know all about you and we have really found that Charlotte is asking more and more questions. It is nice to remember the things you did and what you were like, even though it has become much harder to remember. I feel quite guilty that I can't remember what I used to. I can't bring myself to watch videos or look at pictures yet, but I am sure that time will come as your sister becomes even more curious.
We have moved her room (which was your old room) down closer to Thomas although at night she is my constant companion. I really don't mind as I miss your mummy who is still sleeping down with Thomas.
He is doing much better now but we still worry about him.
I think sometimes about the fact you would both be in school now and i miss what might have been.
Never ever forget that we love you both dearly and miss you so very much. No matter how busy our lives get, you are our children and very much part of our family. You blessed me by making me a daddy for the first time. I love you now and always. Happy birthday buddies.

Well hello my little buddy!
It has been far too long since I last wrote. Mummy and I have been so busy with your brother and sister. They are quite a handful. At the start of the year Thomas was diagnosed with a lower long condition that affects his breathing and also made his milestones a little harder to reach. Unlike Charlotte who did everything quickly, it will take a little longer for him. We really don't care that much as long as he is happy and gets there in the end.

He reminds us alot of you in that you were both very calm and peaceful. He will need to be with your sister running around. She amazes us with her energy but also her kindness and intelligence.

I have been teaching year three and four this year and they are the most beautiful class. I have had many students before and I genuinely love them so much. I have even managed to see and teach my original class members again which has been terrific.

It will be very hard to let this bunch go this year. It has been made more emotional knowing that this is my last year. Tell God that I have kept my promise about being the best teacher I can be and that I hope he continues to protect Charlotte and Thomas.

My dear young man- you have been gone 5 years and we miss you so very much. You are and always will be in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. We hope you liked the balloons we sent up today- Charlotte picked the colours.
She talks about you and Ethan all the time and today told us she was going to use the trampoline to bounce up to heaven. I asked her to wait to do that. Thomas is also curious whenever we go past your pictures. Don't ever worry that you will be forgotten. We carry you with us always.

Hello my beautiful boy. Happy birthday to you and Ethan in Heaven! We love and miss you so very much after all these years. I still can't believe you would have been getting ready for school this year and Ethan would have already started. Your sister talks about you more frequently and last week we were joined by your new baby brother.
We decided very early on to call him Thomas in memory of you and Gabriel who was the angel who spoke to Mary in the bible. We wanted to make sure no one would forget the special boys who we got to hold so briefly. Thomas was born on October 4 after a pretty scary delivery. I didn't think he was alive at first, but now he is healthy and very strong. He is much more placid than your sister but we love them both so much. I am worried about Charlie at the moment. She is blinking lots and I can't help thinking something is wrong. It seems that when you love someone so much your mind automatically thinks the worst. I pray that you watch over them both always and keep them safe. I really believe that God is looking after them both and will help them live happy, healthy, long lives.
Anyway my special boys we pray you have a wonderful day. Never forget or doubt that we have forgotten you. You are and always will be part of our lives no matter how busy we get. You are loved and missed more than you know.

Hello little buddy.
Haven't the years flown by. It has been four years since we last got to hold you. I awoke at 4.30 am as usual- the time you left us behind.
We miss you very much and tell Charlotte all about you.
It was she who let your eight and a half balloons go up to heaven.
Its funny to think that in those four years we were blessed with a little girl and have your new brother on the way. Four years ago I was wondering how to go on. I guess talking to you each day makes you seem more real. I am sad that I have forgotten things about you, and it is too painful to revisit videos just yet.
On this very special angel day Aidy, Mummy Daddy and Charlotte wanted to tell you that we love you with all our hearts. We hope you are with us now and always.

Hello my little wonders. Just thought I would write to tell you that Mummy is starting to get a big belly. She is almost 23 weeks preganant with your new younger brother. He is really kicking up a storm. We had the SMA test almost 2 months ago and it was all clear. Now I just pray that he develops normally. Your sister is still getting used to the idea of a brother in Mummy's tummy. She still thinks her brothers are in heaven. It will be interesting to see how she handles a second little person. Mummy has already started preparing the new nursery and is so excited. She is also very tired. I have been writing reports and trying to get the kids working hard at school. It is tough but I do love them very much. I have been fishing lots because in October I won't get the opportunity. Tammy is also pregnant which will help Mummy too. Charlotte is getting smarter every day and now knows all the alphabet and numbers to 20, and can even point numbers and letters out to us. She is just so amazing.
Anyway I have to head back to the report cards. Remember Mummy and I love and miss you so much. Watch over your sister and new brother always.
