what should i feed my horse she is kept in the field and I am training her to do affiliated dressage

Hi Debra,

Assuming she is in good condition, you can add a good quality hay mixture to her grazing. A 50/50 mixture of grass and legume hays is preferable in order to provide her with high quality protein.

If she begins to work strenuously and you feel that she needs more calories to maintain her weight, I would suggest that you add a stabilized rice bran product.

For performance horses, I often recommend a B-complex supplement to assist her with her increased energy needs and added demands on her body.
