Sad news to pass on that Paul Carney passed away Tuesday 14th January 2025.
He was a L Fitt AC and during his time worked on the OCU, the Phantom Servicing School and 92 Sqn at Wildenrath.
Funeral details form Pauls twin brother John, for those able, are:
"The funeral will take place at 12.30 on the 18th February at Reading crematorium, All Hallows Road, Caversham. This will be followed by the wake at the Shoulder of Muttin at Playhatch which is just a short drive from the crematorium.
The family have asked for those who wish to attend to let them know together with any special dietary requirements. (not sure what Paul would have said about this last request but it shows how times have changed) For those that wish to be involved but cannot attend in person then the service will be available via video link, again another sign of the times. I can pass the names and details forward if you contact me via email john-carney@hotmail.com "
