Thanks for such a fantastic site! I've been on a hunt for over 35 years, looking for that doggone Bulldog AP patch, which I now learn was Plattsburgh patch!
Originally, I thought it was a patch we had at Lakenheath back in 67, but you have set the record straight.
I do recall that us AP's fought for a patch in 67 when I first arrived at Lakenheath, but that the command forbid one. Someone did come up with one, (I thought it was a bulldog or an APE, ie: AP with a round circle and a saying which I have long forgotten.)
If anyone remembers or has info on that "APE" patch we had in Lakenheath 67-68 would appreiciate it.
