Hi Kim,

This product appears to be nothing but soybean oil plus probiotics. And soybean oil is disproportionately high in omega 6 fatty acids, thereby increasing inflammation. I do not recommend it.

Plus, as you mentioned, if the horse needs to build muscle mass, adding extra fat will not do that. It will provide needed calories to do work and beyond work needs, add body fat -- but not muscle.

I would like to know what you think of the product called Power Plus as you can read more about it at this link

A friend of mine just put her halter horse on it and I am thinking after listening to the nutrition call on 7/17 that it may cause inflammation plus will add to much fat when this horse really needs muscle.
